Practice Description
Dexter has represented clients in a variety of both transactional and litigious matters with a primary focus in the oil and gas industry, such as assisting operators in examining title and authoring title opinions, representing buyers in business and asset acquisitions, engaging in landowner disputes, litigation of a non-compete agreement, and drafting estate planning documents and other agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Dexter worked as a real estate attorney representing mortgage servicers in transactional matters and litigation, including both judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, as well as post-foreclosure forcible entry and detainer actions. He has worked across Texas as a field landman performing due diligence, examining title, leasing mineral interests, and performing title curative work. In addition to his time in the real estate industry, Dexter has also represented clients in estate planning and litigation..
