Practice Description
Preston represents upstream and midstream companies in a variety of transactional matters relating to oil and gas exploration, production, distribution and marketing. His practice focuses on acquisitions and divestitures of assets, title examination, curative and due diligence efforts relating to the disposition of producing and nonproducing oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining the firm, Preston worked for a real estate and business law firm where he represented real estate developers, private lenders, commercial landlords and tenants, investors and homeowners in litigation, transactional matters and all aspects of commercial and residential real estate. After graduating law school, Preston worked as an independent petroleum landman in various plays throughout Texas.
