Practice Description
Grant's practice focuses on title examination, acquisition diligence, and curative work with a focus on issues related to oil and gas development. He has experience overseeing due diligence, curative, and leasing projects for clients with assets throughout the country.
Grant has prepared hundreds of title opinions, and oversees internal quality control mechanisms in connection with title examination. He regularly provides daily operational counsel to Fortune 500 and privately-held E&P companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Grant worked as an independent petroleum landman and project manager for Pete Dailey & Associates and Carla Petroleum, Inc.
Representative Engagements
- Prepared numerous original, drilling, supplemental, and division order title opinions in conjunction with the exploration of oil, gas, and mineral properties
- Represented buyers and sellers in the acquisition and divestiture of producing, nonproducing, and proven undeveloped mineral interests and leases in multi-party transactions
- Advised oil and gas companies on acquiring and operating mineral leases and interests
